I talked to Sarge for a long time today. I always felt like people thought we started DDLR because we didn't like what was going on here. That was not the case at all. The Army went down when a fuckhead deleted it, after I spoke on the phone with him, and begged him not to do it. Sarge was in dispose at the time with his career, and I knew it was going to be awhile, if ever, before the Army came back. So, we put up the DDLR site, and molded it after this one. Of course there were differences, but we liked and continued the spirit Sarge set in place with the Army. That tradition will be continued now. Some things will change. And hopefully we do some creative and cool stuff along the way. I hope more of the DDLR faithful come out of the woodwork, and more of the old time Army guys show back up. We also want to continue to add new fans as well. Twonabomber offered up the mp3's of the old radio show today, and hopefully we can get stuff like that added. We need some cool content. Some stuff other than infighting, and in the case of DiverDowninKKKy, inbreeding.

I remember discovering the VH and DLR internet sites back in the late 90's,.... then I discovered there was a legion of frustrated VH fans. First forum I joined was the DDLR! Old DDLR faithful member back in 2004 and registered here under another name in 2004 (I want that back Sesh!). But never big poster. THIS PLACE has always been intense, the most intense among all other sites. It is the strongest legion of DLR FANS! But "anyhooo" here we have another 20 pages of P.M.S.'ing bitches. But it's all the same, another meltdown, a different version, different scandal, it's part of the cycle.

It was intense because classic VH fans have more balls than Van Hagar fans and we tend to be a motley bunch. Also, the Roth Army was always a very open forum and rarely banned anyone.
