Oh, about cancer, that which offends you so much because of your dear old mom... I lost my grandfather, the person I most loved in all the world, the person I STILL love more than anyone, when I was very, very young, to cancer.

I don't go around telling people not to say that word because my grandfather died from it.

Saying it and calling someone it are not the same thing. I found it to be disrespectful. As you know, it's not something anyone should wish on anyone. Calling someone a cancer is a whole lot like wishing it on someone in my book. But you're right. People are free to speak with a shattered moral compass all they like.

I left VHND after 5 years primarily because I was sick of all of the constant arguing with the fucking Hagar fans. Now, after two years of having some great conversations with some great people about Dave and VH, this place has become a cess pool of hate that gets me... glum.

I'm still holding out hope for a bit more peace around here. Will I get it? Possibly not, but if everyone's gonna vent frustrations, why can't I?

Referring to the 2000 sessions, was it Dave that said they had recorded 7 or 8 songs during that time? I can't remember but i don't think anyone else confirmed that did they? If Dave said they did then i believe it and it wouldn't be like Eddie to confirm anything.

Fact is, what I've said about my family is TRUE. I lost them all to cancer. I have no family anymore. I'm on my own (no brother, no sister, no uncle, no aunt whatsoever). Are you?? I hope not.

Cancer is a disease but it is also a WORD. And if somebody says "She is a cancer", don't take it personally.

I mean, come on, Bridge. I've had it harder than you on that subject I'm sure.
But you know, I'm soon to be 35, my mom died when I was 17, my dad passed away in 2007, I just got over it. I know Cancer is the shittiest disease ever.

I thought it was a bit much and inappropriate to call someone that. That's all. I've always liked Sniper and I put him above making that kind of remark. Perhaps it is wrong for me to have put my personal anguish with the use of the word out there. I wouldn't call what I did pathetic, but Imapus made a point that I understand. I reacted to an ugly situation here with the heavy heart of what I've got going on at home. Everyone here knows I mean well. I hope.

I'm sorry about your mother--I think anymore all of us have had to deal with the loss of someone dear to us that has had Cancer. I personally went through it with my father. Luckily, he wasn't taken from me.
