Typecasting as Tony Soprano much?
Oh dear.
Wow, that sucks. R.I.P.
Fuck. Young still too.
RIP

Fuck.. this is serious?
At first I thought it had to be another one of those fake "(insert celebrity here) died in freak rock climbing accident in New Zealand" things.
Damn....... 51? I actually thought he was older than that. Apparently so did his heart.

Damn man, rewatching The Sopranos and just started season 3 last night. This sucks, RIP James.
dam shame
Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
Some of Tony Soprano's greatest "hits".....

In 6 years, I'll be 51. Rest in peace, Jimmy, and Long Live da BING!

One of the greatest scenes in that show.
Great show...for the first 2 seasons...then it turned into a friggin' soap opera!
SALUTE TONY RIP!!!
When he was playing Tony Soprano, the character was supposedly in his thirties. I always thought he looked much older. How much I hate Gandolfini is likely just about how good an actor he is - making it impossible to separate the man from Tony Soprano.
Nobody deserves to die at 51. That's five years younger than me for crissakes. So I hope the actor rests in peace, and Tony Soprano burns in hell.
No Sopranos movie now.
RIP.

A big bummer indeed. Fuck. I saw him once by my work. Massive, intimidating guy. Hard to believe anything could bring him down. Proof we're all time bombs and you never know when your number's up.
RIP James
He was down here filming "The Last Castle" with Robert Redford at the old Tennessee State prison about 12 years ago...
RIP man. Too young.
David Lee Roth and Tony Soprano!
RIP!
I never watched Sopranos, not my thing, but dying at 51 sucks. It's way too young. Rip.
The heart is on the left. The blood is red.
51 is no age ... Rip tony
fuck your fucking framing
EASILY one of my favorite scenes in any television show EVER!
RIP Tony....

R.I.P.
Love The Sopranos, obviously - but I'd also like to mention his performances in 'Killing Them Softly' and 'Get Shorty' (where he was great as bear).

Note to self: don't take a flying vacation in my fifties.
Sad news . I honestly can't remember ever seeing him in anything else before " The Sopranos " He owned that role to the hilt . What a talented guy . Since Sopranos I have watched him in several recent flicks like " Zero Dark Thirty " and " Not Fade Away "
I know Tony Soprano was a just a ficticious larger than life character but , I can't help but notice the irony in his passing away in Rome .
RIP James Gandolfini - Thanx for the cool flix .
The final scene... RIP
"If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”
The first time I saw the final scene like many people I was very WTF?
By the 3rd time I watched it I realized it was one of the best bits of TV drama of all time.
What a shame - 51 shocking...
It's the long transcontinental ones that are more dangerous...
Flight time from New York to Rome is 9 hours.....
Actually, as long as you get up and stand/walk around every now and then it would probably help things a bunch....
Although if you were "Tony Soprano" that's the LAST thing he'd want to do....
Not to mention that when you DO get up, you become the guy that just stares at everyone, which annoys the fuck out of me.....
Yeah, I would like to go to Australia and New Zealand some day.....
I'm just not sure I want to FLY there. I believe that's about 17 hours.
