                    Finally finished the book. Outstanding.

                    One thing I've seen a lot of people bicker over on FB is the book's sub-title. Greg nails the reason behind it both early on and in the afterword. It truly is fitting.

                    The last sentence of the book is a thing of beauty. Looking forward to the Q & A!

                        Are you talking about the "Heavy Metal" thing? I have to admit, I thought the same thing, long ago when I heard what the title was going to be. But, like you said, he covers it in a truly fitting way. I think it's spot on.

                            Same here. It's a knee-jerk reaction to think "hey, VH isn't heavy metal", but that's not what it says. Their new delivery of the heavy stuff kept the genre alive. When you think about what bands that followed were doing and how their predecessors had a second wind by following their lead, it really is quite amazing. Facts like that get totally lost in the wake of all things Ed & Dave.
