This video makes me feel warm and dewy inside, and yes it's actually a positive, self-affirming Nine Inch Nails song.

That's really Nine Inch Nails?
At times it sounds more like The Cure with Elvis Costello on lead vocals.
Maybe Trent spent some time with his record collection recently?
That's one lucky teddy bear though.....

LOL There's a really good interview of Trent on NPR I heard last night with Terry Gross of all people.
http://www.npr.org/2013/09/04/218961...s-20-years-ago
She mentioned how someone made a video of the song with a cartoon Trent on a unicorn riding on rainbows.
Great interview, Reznor basically says he's changed and is not the same 20 0r 30-something filled with anger and self-loathing and is much happier with his wife and two children in his life...
So getting this album...
BTW, Lindsey Buckingham plays on it...

I withdraw my earlier statement.
I'd rather not have Miley Cyrus twerking all over me.
I am impressed. It is a great change stylistically, but he is a big enough artist he can pretty much chart his own course.
And whatever he does is going to have superior production.
He is going to be here in Gnashville in October.
I might go. Am still being a fence sitter.
Saw him at the same venue the last two times he was here.

NIN live on Austin City Limits.
If you were to say that Trent Reznor is the most talented musician of his generation, I'd have a hard time arguing with you........
The Power Of The Riff Compels Me
Reznor's first girlfriend has hung out with the DDLR folk once, and actually went to a Roth concert with us. She reveals that she was the moaning/screaming woman on one of his first albums. I think they stay in touch.
Oh dear.
Well, I'd say his musical generation is c.1988-1996 - bands that began in that era.
Couple weeks ago the Cleveland Plain Dealer ran a few articles on who's eligible for next year's Rock Hall inductions. It read like the writer's record collection...Green Day, Pavement (?) and NIN are among the list of possible first year eligible bands. This writer just gushed about Green Day and claimed they were influential to Panic! At The Disco and Blink 182, and I wondered if anyone should be honoring Green Day for inspiring shit like those other bands. I think Reznor has a good shot of getting in next year though.
I honestly can't think of when I have heard anything by Pavement or read anything that they were influential to anyone.
Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.
Music that's not from 1985!?!?!-ish
I'm shocked.
Bands are out. DJ's are in. Travel the world mixing dance tunes and getting paid very well to do it.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!
Greenday made a canny living out of their cover versions of first stiff little fingers and the first clash albums.
fuck your fucking framing
A nice live spot from Velvo, some good shit from The Downward Spiral era...
Recorded at LA's Staples center exactly a year ago and possibly available on Blu-ray...

Get your Woodstock 94' bootleg in lossless, MP3, or video here. You're welcome and many thanks to the uploader!
360p?
No thanks.
Best set of Woodstock '94 though. He made rock history that night.
Here....this is the guy who uploaded it, but he originally remastered it in 480p. That video on youtube looks like dogshit. I recorded it off of cable (I recorded the entire PPV event over 3 days) and still have the all VHS tapes....my VHS tape looks WAY better than this youtube suck.

Now Wiki 'How To Destroy Angels' you shithead.
Good call!
No it's not. It's boring Trent and his ditzy wife.
That Velvo clip is bad ass.
But he is a fantastic composer.
With Pino Palladino on bass.
That snare drum sound is my favorite drum sound. Cuts cleanly through EVERYTHING. Sounds like wood smacking the shit out of yer skull.....like a 3rd-grade teacher whacking you upside your fool head with a ruler......
Decided to download it to watch it off the hard drive.
Jesus FUCK this band is shit hot.
Even it just being a video of a concert, without being AT the venue....it fucking smokes.
She's a untalented skank who married him only for his money.
No, you are 0000
Why does he not hire Ace Diamind as his guitar player?
