It reminded me of getting together with a friend and waiting for my folks to leave for a "night on the town" on a Friday or Saturday evening, raiding my brother's beer and liquor supply, then setting up our cheesy equipment and blasting away on guitar and drums, imagining we were Rush, Sabbath and the Stones all in one.

Look, I have believed in what Ace has been attempting for years, and have said so in the past. The guy is an entertainer. The choice of subscribing to that particular form of entertainment is your own.

I also believe in the idea of free trade and personal endeavor in that regard. Ya don't dig Ace's stuff? Fine, then do not dig it. But come on folks, allow the man the dignity of pursuing his dream.

The guy is a basket case. In regard to relevance in 2014, who amongst us can claim NOT to be one? Ace chooses to wear his freak flag high. That takes balls, ladies and gentlemen. And in a weird-assed way, is something to be admired and inspired by.

    Good for you, Ace.
Chef, that is the single nicest thing anyone has ever said about my music. I'm very touched by it. Thank You.

Honestly Ace, I find you entertaining as hell. Keep it up, and give me my damn shout out!

If I can make one suggestion, you should try and put time stamps on your album videos if you are going to upload them in full. Those are some cool titles and If I see a song called "The final fuck off", you better believe I want to skip ahead to it

His solos are even somewhat thought out...

I think with some work it could be good...

It was sheer luck....I had just been stumbling around the internet and came across that image of a big Hollywood production. And having just read some stuff on the forums about Ace Diamond, I thought "We are all just the star of our own little show".

One thought led to another then boom.

Here is a slightly improved version. I was able to lighten you up a bit. Hey, you are supposed to be under a spot-light, eh? Just that the original photo of you standing out in the yard, your front was in shadow.

    Enjoy.

Musicianship isn't the word. The truth is, the guy tightly straps on his ball sack, turns up his amp, occasionally tunes his axe and gives it his all.

Success can only be measured by defeat. If you defy any loss (imagined or not), come out unbruised , non-bleeding and defiant, then you are not only a winner, yet more importantly, a survivor.

Once again, good on yer, Ace.

I'm 54. That means I can remember 1970s AM radio piffle, enjoyed progressive FM for about three years, disregarded it as it turned into a pop turd fest around 1978, anathema in 1979, and a graveyard between 1980/1983.

I do not live in the past. I love hitting the FM radio, finding up-beat, bass/synth pop dance tracks. It is invigorating stuff, and fun as heck to listen to. It's like a splash of ice cold Mountain Dew to the face on a hot morning.

I dig this shit. It proves I do not need to hang around my old record collection. And it also gives me hope, let alone patience, for a future of new music, not necessarily what I have become accustomed to...

Maybe. I don't see why that would concern you.

And it happened right when I was watching my favourite Anime. I was so upset I went to bed without watching Spongebob Squarepants.

Thanks for rubbing it in, jackass.

Ya know, this is odd. There I am, half passed out listening to an old (unnamed) CD, when the fucking player started to sound like used beer cans in a washing machine.

We are talking sheer grinding here, as if the machine wished to eat my CD.

I reached over to shut it off, and it burned the living shit out my hand, so hot and near flame as it was...

With fortune, I evaded burning the house into flames by unplugging the device, and throwing it into a bin.

So much for purchasing cheap electronics at a discount store.

Long story short, me mum and I head to the mall. She was interested in new appliances, and...I have a new little red boom box...oh, and a new oven and refrigerator. I shit ya not. Sometimes, ya simply have to take advantage of them holiday sales, and I saved over $1600 bucks.

I ain't gloating, I happened to be the right schmuck at the right time.

Still feels cool. Of course, I had to wait for the install (stove last Monday, fridge next Monday), then deal with idiots later on. And cooking without possible fire filled emissions and a fridge that might actually keep yer provisions hearty yet no longer leaks liquids all over the floor, is a win-win situation.
