Shout Out to Classic DR/VH fans

I notice the majority of the posters on this site are 45 yrs.old (myself included) and younger. To really have experienced VH when they were playing the clubs, backyards or even when the first album/tour started you would have to be in the 53-58 year range. Anyone here a groupie/ roadie from the early years who would like to share a story from the old days? Love to hear it.

Not 53, but 51 and I'll never forget their first tour. Blew my mind, and I was told I was screaming like a teenage girl at a Beatles concert. Saw them 4 or 5 times between 78 and 81. Front row every time. It was general admission back then. I think the most I spent on a ticket was 9.50.

I met Van Halen (and acquired their souls) on June 6, 1976.

But you know that, because they wrote a song about it.......

Lump me in with the too-young for primetime crowd... I didn't get to see EVH live until 1991... I made up for it seeing them 13 times between 07-12 though...
