We conducted a social experiment last year. Whites and First Nation's peoples. I was shocked at just how bad it is up here. I was $1 short for my restaurant bill. No problem. The Native woman? They were going to call the cops. That's just one example. For EVERY scenario we tried, the whites were treated better.
Last month, I forgot to renew my vehicle registration and got pulled over. It was freezing cold out and when I told the cop I would walk to the insurance office and back, he gave me a ride there and back. I can guarantee you he wouldn't have done that if I was Native.

That's a fair criticism. Although I'm not totally sure what you're defining as Native due to the amount of groups recognized. But your perspective is honest.
pmsmbc doesn't recognize their socialist leanings. For example in this clip, is the fact that whites are generally treated as individuals while blacks are treated as a group.
What I picked up from that clip was their point about unemployment with blacks & Hispanics. It's because they're unemployable, not some fictional white privilege. I don't get it. I went to public school here with a very mixed group. We all had the same opportunity from the get-go. The major difference, from my observation, is I have 2 parents who instilled somewhat of a work ethic and a sense of right & wrong. They have no one to blame but themselves and their lack of community and moral compass. There's privilege here for everyone - it just won't be handed to you.

Not really. Lincoln was all about talking out both sides of his ass crack like every other politician. He had to appease his coffers. Again, Lincoln knew that slavery was costly and the best way to defuse the situation for everybody was to pull the thorn of the word slavery from the history books. It was a PR move, if anything. Blacks were free only by proclamation and nothing else. Lincoln betted on the fact that a slave who wasn't angry was also one would would not be moving anywhere near his neighborhood.
