Never said he had no skill. Just in my personal background and creative field of expression, originality goes hand in hand with skill to be truly special. The kid is amazing... although I got to wonder having raised kids. He's 7 or 8... when do the drum sticks end up in the heap in the bottom of his closet along with last year's Christmas toys that he lost interest in and never touches..?
The kid is unbelievably gifted, but he has also practised for a long, long time, which amounts to a huge part of his young life...
If he can already play like that, what will he be at in 10 years?... Tremendous!
