I'm kinda freaked out by how good this kid is. I mean, he's been doing this for years now. Craziness.

Sounds funny when talking about a 7 yr. old --- "been doing it for years now"

I know, right? But it's true. This kid was kickin' ass by 6, so you know he had to be half way decent at 5. That's just unheard of, especially in these days of kids fidgeting with gadgets while watching TV all day.

That probably amazes me more than anything --- a kid who actually wants to do something besides video games and Twitter posts.

I grew up in the 80's and had a Colecovision game console, but I also played baseball, went fishing, built tree houses, etc. Do kids these days even get out of the house on a summer day except to make a Starbucks run?

Interesting. So the blank spot under the shredding emoticons is 7, and can supposedly play music.

Never knew of a blank spot on a messageboard which was a sentient being. To me it just looks like a blank space.

If that vid doesn't put a smile on your face nothing will. They are raising that kid right! He will be a star if he doesn't blow out his elbows by the time he's 13.

I just saw this posted on another site, and thought it deserved a bump. Watch this kid singing along. Watch his facial expressions. He is having a great time. He even knows all Dave's vocal nuances. This is 3:54 well worth watching.

Post him when he plays something original which he wrote. God bless the kid and he has skills but it is nothing special till he does something he can call his own which is significant. We live in the age of the American Idol... "you are the best because you can copy someone"

So, I'm guessing when you were his age, you were able to "copy someone" like this kid does. I doubt you can do it at 46.

Expecting a 7 year old kid to have his own fucking albums out already. What a dumbass.

I hear he's currently writing the next AC/DC album, since their drummer is going to be in jail.

Never said he had no skill. Just in my personal background and creative field of expression, originality goes hand in hand with skill to be truly special. I never made a requirement of him having to have his own albums to achieve that and I did say 'when' he does and not that he never will. A dumbass I am not, but a arrogant smart ass is a strong possibility lol

The kid is amazing... although I got to wonder having raised kids. He's 7 or 8... when do the drum sticks end up in the heap in the bottom of his closet along with last year's Christmas toys that he lost interest in and never touches..?

The kid is unbelievably gifted, but he has also practised for a long, long time, which amounts to a huge part of his young life...

If he can already play like that, what will he be at in 10 years?... Tremendous!

I was going to say he will need to slow down as the burden of school work increases but then remembered he's a drummer.

That timeless riff puts wood in undies --- doesnt matter what age or generation you belong to. It always will.
