How am I to know if that is or is not personal info? How do I know whether that is a pic of the guy or not? That's why I made a rule when I took over that people could ask for a pic to be taken down. A rule that never existed when your brother used to post here and among a group of changes which I posted when I first took over in a post that got a huge number of likes including from Lounge and probably you too.

Not only did XXXX not ask for the pic to be removed, 2 of us even got in touch with him asking if he wanted us to.

I "get" it (even if I don't agree with it) as to why the guys who were mods here at the time would feel betrayed; They thought they were part of a team and we were all pretty unceremoniously laid off at the same time, and a lot of people were unbanned. It's not hard to come to the conclusion that you guys were snubbed by the site you'd spent a lot of time working on. It's also not hard to feel like the people you were being pretty constantly attacked by were rewarded, first by seeing you guys get demodded, and then by being unbanned.

I also get that it was probably the only/fastest way to try to defuse the whole situation, and that there weren't really any good options. The whole place had been poisoned by the time something was done about it, and at that point the option chosen was believed to have the best chance at putting an end to the shit. Did it work? Not completely, but I think it worked enough. It also sucked all the wind out of the place because a lot of the content creators had already left and when the vitriol was finally stopped, well... that was the only conversation that was left.

The place that was here was torn down to one degree or another by everyone that participated. Even if you were just defending yourself. Myself included. Hitting reply only kept the madness going. And many of us did it.

The main sin against the Army was that it wasn't stopped a long time ago, before it drove everything into the ground, and you can't blame Sesh for that. He has tried to make the best of a shitty situation.

More than anything though I'm impressed at the staying power of this topic. I mean it started in 01/2013 if I recall correctly! That's amazing.

Hold on there... there was none of that on the last version of Fans. Anything related to people here or this stupid site war that went up there... came down immediately. It wasn't tolerated no matter who posted it... webbie, owner, mod or regular user. If someone had an axe to grind in that realm... they were told flat out to bring it back to here and keep it off of Fans. It wasn't always a popular stance... but the application was consistent from beginning to end.

For me the issue lies in what seems to be your tunnel vision towards the goal of free speach at the expense of the most common shred of human decency and common sense.

Not sure what you do for a living, but have you ever been in a situation where a contract exists between yourself or a company you represent...and there is a disagreement? What I always do in that situation is have another read of the contractual terms and understand what the spirit of the agreement and what the intention was. If maintaining a solid relationship with all parties is the ultimate goal then that is exactly the best path. If either part gets stuck on specific language of the contract and refuses to budge an inch while the very basis of the contract is undermined and trust destroyed then everyone is just a fool.

It seems you lost your way there a bit Sesh in all of this mess despite your best intentions.

I am no one here other than an intermittent poster with no more than my $20 contribution here and there, but at the end of the day we are just a small community of posters who have a few common interests. Is it too much to ask for us to have a safe place to gather? That wasn't the case under your guidance with this issue specifically and I was surprised at the time.

Let's simplify this right now...we have WARF admitting he was basically off his rocker and not able to make correct decisions...he had his supporters enabling him and making excuises for their tacit, direct, and indirect support - all the while none of the insanity being curtailed by you despite it being beyond vile and causing people to flee the site in record numbers.

We had someone not in his right mind wreaking havoc here, and because you had free speach in mind as your unbending goal all is ok? I don't think you can get off that easy.

Everyone makes mistakes, so how about you admit to one and we all learn from this?
