I think that would be best.

This is being real nitpicky, but if that guitar wasn't quite so pointy toward the neck (devil horns, lol) it would be an almost perfect guitar.

Again, just trying to provide honest feedback from a potential customer ;-)

I missed this post..and you are right.I never finshed it..I fucked up some things along the way but next time will better..But I screwed up the walnut guitar with the studs..wood cracked...after that i thought...why finish it..it won't last cause of the cracks. Thanks though..i love shaping stuff..marble,wood etc..im not a luthier

Cut/rout the cracks out and glue in another solid piece of wood?

There's a guitar shop owner on one of the forums I frequent that performs miracles on guitars with broken headstocks...he'll rout out a channel and make a spline to fit in it. Same technique may work here.
Writing In All Proper Case Takes Extra Time, Is Confusing To Read, And Is Completely Pointless.

here are pics of the bridgepocket ..it was a disaster from the start..First time i screwed up the studs I filled the holes again with wood..then I drilled wrong way again..then screwed an entire new block of wood and then the crack..edge was way to thin..LOL

I think I might saw off the wings/horns and put an entire new piece in the middel..when all looks good I'll make the horns round and organic.

But now I'm gonna try the strat first..also put my emgs on ebay LOL

                  Learning is great fun...

I ruined a few guitars before I figured out how to do things correctly...

I admire blue for diving right it...

What's the alternative, besides watching TV and arguing on the internet ??

Maybe 2 days and i'm finshed with the first strat..for the other one i'm still saving for Seymour ducans and hardware.

It's a HH pickguard but i made single coil hole in it myself. Also cut away a lil for the floyd.

I'm finished..drilling went great..HSH sounds better than emg's for this guitar.
Only have to work on floyd pocket to make it float.
