I fucked up with 2 bodies..now I went to a real wood dealer and bought some cool shit.
Also ordered the kahler 7300 hybrid

I'm making my own pick up covers.Hear that 1mm wood won't effect the sound.
Anybody know?

Only if wood weakens the magnetic field of the pickup. Some pickups have metal or plastic covers. I would think you would be ok with wood that thin.

Thanks Elvis and Nitro!! I'm going to the local lasercutting store and cut a "MO" guitars logo on the pickups..lol
I didn't start the body yet..need bigger saw.Waiting for the kahler to ship first.But in the mean time I'm gonna build some covers..also colour some strips of wood and today I did a nitrocellulose test with spray can..was pretty awsome.But loving the tru oil though.

FYI...

The Guitar Re-ranch spray can nitrocellulose is 100% amazing...

I use the satin clear and satin amber and it's just a perfect product...

The satin can be polished to a high gloss...

LOL hahahah They have little shops now like kinkos where you can lasercut and 3d print stuff.

I designed these pick up covers for p90s.
I ordered them already at 3d print company.They'll be finished in 2 weeks.I will put veneer on the sides.
