New =VH= album in less than a year. I have a hunch things will start picking up eventually.

The act of creation is always where the charge is otherwise you end up like Kiss who I am a huge fan of but essentially has become a parody of themselves. I want to see them still creating and making it. I know what they were like, I was there, I want see what they still can do.
Living life like it is over and looking only backwards is a quitters way to live and fucking boring. Rather climb a new mountain. Guys that were the stud in high school and losers the rest of their life always like to live like it is still high school. Fuck that rather burn up in flames trying new shit.

Just to clarify that loser rest of their life comment is my general view not a meant to be a shot at you Von.
Great point but....I have seen what VH can do lately...not much..I love ADKOT..love it..but they only wrote what, four songs and reworked old stuff for the rest..it was great because the old stuff became new.Thats what a dvd would do for me..you havent seen many quality clips of Live CVH..A new disc of 10-12 tunes would be awesome...but the show will be just like the last two..couple new songs followed by the same songs every night..boring..gimme CVH on a dvd over a new lp if thats the only choice..as Va said, why not both.

According to Dave, the only new song was "Stay Frosty", and he wrote that.

Like you, I LOVE ADKOT. But the tour performances were good, not great.

How about a new album in the box set of old live shows?

Ahh. Now that sounds like an idea. Boxset of old live/rarities. Plus new album or even EP to go with it.

It looks like a floor in some old shed. The nutcases in the Hollywierd Hills probably pay extra for that distressed look. I want to remember the VH of old. Not this faggy shit.

I figured that picture with the lampshade and cigar would give Donnie nightmares for a week...

So we've seen plenty of Dave's dog Russ... Ed's mutt and Wolf's micro-mutt... I think it's time to get Alex into the game..?

Even Dave fags his dog up in stupid costumes. VH's new album should be named "Faggy Pet Sounds". Starring Dave Lennox, the bionic man, Reverend Al, and the boy wonder.

I agree with Elvis 110% ... I'm happy with the existing bootleg stuff ... be careful what you wish for, sometimes the end result isn't worth the hype and anticipation ... I'll take a new album and tour any day of the week ...

I don't know... all that extra oomph generates a stink so bad it'll knock a buzzard off a shithouse roof...

I'd prefer both...but hey it's Van Halen haha, I'm guessing it'd be new album next year and probably a live album from last year as the "great project" he can't say anything about (easier for Dave to fix up vocals, with no out of sync visuals... or maybe it's even the 2008 dvd/blu-ray?). The other theory is a 1984 live blu-ray (and I say 1984 cause that's what I hope for, could be another show, documentary or boxset though haha), which they might be overseeing the restoration process, mixing and filming additional special features...then there's the Michael Anthony issue, but didn't he sign off all his Van Halen rights back in 2004 or something? Maybe Ed has made up? Or maybe I'm just dreaming a little too much now haha

Mike signed off the ability to use the Van Halen name and trademarks. He didn't give up royalties.

I voted for a new album and tour, but only because time is ticking away.

Ideally, as already stated, we should of already had both.
