The list is long, Rory Gallagher never made a ton of money and I consider him one off the best ever musicians/songwriters. Top Priority still kicks my ass.

Nail on head. That album and the three piece Live! in Europe burn the playhouse to the ground. Worthy of mention: Stage Struck, from the tour that supported Top Priority.

Oddly enough, I caught a live show from this tour at Montreux, in the early days of cable (1981-02), here in S. Fl. It was broadcast on the Nickelodeon channel, of all things!

Yea he was the real deal. Should have been bigger than Clapton IMO. He was awesome live. A lot of that stuff is out on dvd now. Montreux and all that. He pretty much drank himself too death. Sad.

If you want a real VH guitar buy the Music Man from the 90's. A real custom guitar. I've had mine 20 some odd years and that fucker never goes out of tune with 4 springs in the back. I think the strings are 3 years old !

Yea mine is red also. I wish it was a different color sometimes. But I only gave a grand for it in 92. I think its a 91. Sadly it's beat too shit. I don't even have a case for it. It was lying on the basement floor all summer. lol.

It arrived and I'm very happy with it! The neck feels like butter.. it has zero finish.. just smooth as hell. The frets feel pretty good too, everything is very bendy.. nice and easy. Great guitar for the money. I flipped the input jack to be a little more accurate..

Thanks! I bought that Kramer new in 88 or 89... it was my first 'real' guitar. Did a lot of learning on that one.. then one day I had the brilliant idea of taking it apart. And there it sat for over 10 years until I had my guy rebuild it and re-fret it.. The 5-way switch is some special set up, not the 'traditional' switch. It gets nice strat and tele sounds. The Bridge pick-up is from the 1984 Kramer - I dropped an EVH Frankenstein PU in that one. It's nice to have it back in the rotation, but it's very heavy - especially compared to the new EVH which is super light.

I had a Kramer from the same era and when I tore mine apart I found to my dismay that the body was laminated wood. Laminated wood is heavy due to the glue content in it.

its not cheap...$1,299. But for me, I just can't have the 2x12...too big and too damn loud. In a way the 2X12 is a better deal I suppose, but again, this is exactly what I need

its the 50 watt head equivalent you are paying for. If I wanted to add a 1x12 cab to it, that would be $329 for that so a little bit more to go that route versus teh 2x12...I will never need it

Nope. Most amps are rated in Root Mean Squared which is an average output rating. Wattage varies as the amplifier runs and you aren't using all the wattage unless you have all the volume knobs turned to 11. In actuality the amplifier probably is putting out more than 50 watts in small peaks or bursts but the mean or average wattage is below that.

They have a special knob - power attenuator - where you can dial it down to 1 watt...but it sounds exactly like 50 watts....so very cool
