While I agree the NBA has a right to punish Sterling for his comments I don't think a lifetime ban and a 2.5 million dollar fine is justifiable for saying the shit he said. The NBA was in a big hurry because the playoffs were underway and the Clippers were in the playoffs. I have mixed feelings because I don't like Sterling but I doubt this would even be news if Sterling was black and said he didn't like whites.

I was kind of freaked out a bit recently talking to my dad and finding out that he was strongly against gay marriage. He had no good reason for his standpoint because there just isn't one, his bigotry came from the ignorance he was brought up on.
