While I agree the NBA has a right to punish Sterling for his comments I don't think a lifetime ban and a 2.5 million dollar fine is justifiable for saying the shit he said. The NBA was in a big hurry because the playoffs were underway and the Clippers were in the playoffs. I have mixed feelings because I don't like Sterling but I doubt this would even be news if Sterling was black and said he didn't like whites.
