Anybody else enjoying this new HBO show? I guess I shouldn't be surprised since Mike Judge is involved, but it's fucking funny!

It sure is. Damn, Sunday nights are packed. GOT, this, Veep & John Oliver. Can barely keep me sleepy eyes open.
Silicon Valley has a great cast of characters and the main storyline is funny yet believable.
I've never even heard of it , but will check it out on you fellow's recommendations .
fuck your fucking framing
Matt Ross, the guy who played Albie Grant on Big Love, is the perfect computer world, CEO asshole type.
Agreed. Fucking Funny!
Great series... does somewhat capture the vibe of Silicon Valley back in that era. I believe they set it in the late 80's but it seems more like I experienced the valley in the late 70's early 80's.
By the late 80's Silicon Valley was in a down trend and Silicon Prairie (Austin, Tx) was the hot spot starting up the .com bubble...

From what I read it's based on Mike Judge's experiences when he moved there in 1987... I don't think they've aimed to make any of it "period" centric. But it seems to be slanted that way. It's a very different place today than what it was in the 70's/80's in both business and culture.
Sounds more like Yawn Valley...
No, it's pretty fuckin' funny.
Well...
I don't watch TV garbage entertainment...
If ELVIS dislikes it, it must be a good show.
Keep watching Alex Jones, E!
It's good. I like it even more after listening to Judge on Stern last week.
That's very true...
If four or five people are sitting at a breakroom table at work talking about how funny a show is, then one guy walks by and mumbles, "I'll bet that show sucks", does the one guy even have a point? I didn't think so.
Oh FFS. Stop being such an old fart. Sometimes a silly TV show is the perfect remedy for paying too much attention to what's really going on in the world. Live a little ya cranky bastid.
We'll I'm wide awake and enjoying life (and the occasional stupid TV show). Life isn't all doom and gloom, though that was a decent tune by the Stones.
