Bernie Sanders Calls Out Marco Rubio For Embarrassing The Nation

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said what many are already thinking when he called out Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) for embarrassing the nation.

On The Ed Show, Sen. Bernie Sanders responded to Marco Rubio’s complete denial of climate change science by saying, “I gotta say this, Ed. I really gotta say this. Look, you and I have all kinds of differences with Republicans, but to totally reject what the scientific community is saying is really embarrassing for our nation, frankly.”

Sen. Sanders (I-VT) was reacting to Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) statement during an interview on ABC’s This Week yesterday. Rubio said, “I do not believe that human activity is causing these dramatic changes to our climate the way these scientists are portraying it. That’s what I do not — and I do not believe that the laws that they propose we pass will do anything about it. Except it will destroy our economy.”

During the same interview, Rubio also claimed that he was ready to be president, which begs the question, president of what? Sen. Sanders has it right. Rubio’s comments were an embarrassment. They were also quite possibly the most shameless pander to Republican primary voters since Mitt Romney was running for the 2012 nomination.

Republicans may have to completely disconnect from reality if they want the support of their party, but they haven’t figured out yet that non-reality politics doesn’t win elections outside of the GOP. Republicans like Marco Rubio are embarrassing themselves, because they actually believe that they have a chance to be president.

Marco Rubio tends to embarrass himself on a regular basis, so this is nothing new. What is embarrassing is that Republicans like Rubio are making the rest of the nation look bad.

Sen. Big Gulp is a joke, but the joke isn’t funny. Rubio has no chance that he will be elected president in 2016. The American people need to follow the lead of Bernie Sanders and call out these disgraceful Republicans. The grown ups are trying to govern, and it’s clear that the GOP is not ready to sit at the adult table in American politics.

It's so damn simple it's stupid. Everything is about oil. I'm convinced we can get off it; especially if the US president issued the challenge to do so. It's stupid to burn the stuff when it's a fabulous chemical base. It's all political or more accurately geopolitical. Holding progress back because it's all about oil. We sold our souls for the shit.

Want to really sink Putin? Fuck the Ukraine. That backfired. Make oil obsolete. It won't happen. Everyone is addicted to oil and the geopolitical power it has.

Well the same pricks are using climate change as the excuse to slap energy taxes on us. They want a global tax too as well as a global currency. They just want to make their carbon based fuels last longer and to be more expensive. They also want the excuse to monitor and control the population.

Whether it's a natural occurrence because other planets in our solar system are experiencing changes as well. Some say it's due to the sun being more active. Or if it's really too much CO2 on the atmosphere, I don't like the solution being sold.

Al Gore's big bad warming fear porn didn't happen so they have dropped "Global Warming" for "Climate Change". In the 1970's they said we were cooling. The bottom line is everyone can be bullied and bought. Scientists are no different. They depend on grants and institutions for their livelihood. Also the alarmism comes from just a few countries in the west. I mean the rest of the world isn't stupid. If this was a real danger they would be on the bandwagon as well.

I'm all for cleaner energy. Hell I'm for getting off of oil and if this is such an emergency why don't we see world leaders standing up making a challenge to get off oil in ten years. How come we don't have a Manhattan Project or Apollo level project to get off carbon based fuels? Because the people who sell the carbon based fuels are behind the global warming/climate change media hysteria. They want their product to last longer and be more expensive. Their only alternatives is solar panels, batteries, and wind turbines. Give me a fucking break. It's obvious.

If we really were in danger and the situation was as drastic as claimed every industrialized nation on the planet would be hell bent on developing new energy technologies. If the situation was so dire, Obama wouldn't have cut the Department of Energy's budget. If this is about saving the earth you would think more effort would be put into it. We had more motivation to get an atomic bomb and go to the moon.

It just looks like a media marketing campaign funded by the 1% who want to keep us on carbon fuels longer. They know solar and wind can replace carbon fuels in today's world. It's about controlling populations by taking choices away. I'm not buying it. I don't like the solution. I don't see any real effort being made to fix a so called dire situation. I see a bunch of gullible people being spooked by the television set.

Remember. Who's running the west now is oligarchs. You can be in the US, the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or the UK. The same oligarch class has captured your country. Bankers and corporations run the show. They are who are pushing this global change agenda and it's laughable solutions. Why? It benefits them. It gives them more power.

The world is being divided geopolitically between two factions now. The East vs. West. The East is leaving the failed western financial system and is tired of it's NATO warmongering. Interesting that the old Bretton Woods/NATO crowd are the ones who seem to be most concerned about climate change. You know. The guys who used depleted uranium weapons and level countries to meet their end goals. They really don't seem to be too concerned with saving anyone except themselves. Apparently weapons and wars don't leave a big carbon footprint. LOL!
