There is no way that hologram was of Michael Jackson himself, in fact he does have an idea on who the impersonator is, it might be Christopher Gaspar or Navi. At first, many MJ fans assumed that it was composed of unused footage from the This Is It rehearsals, but I can tell it's bullshit. During This Is It, Michael was still VERY, VERY thin. He had no muscle mass whatsoever, also his cheeks still seemed very sunken in and in the hologram, "Michael" looks more like the Dangerous or History Tour-era Michael Jackson. He also said that it wasn't a hologram, but rather a video presented in a 3D-like fashion to make it look like a hologram, similar to the Tupac hologram.

I used to feel that way about the guy too. He was a fucked up individual but he didn't get that way by himself. His mommy and daddy are partially responsible for it but so are the rest of the people who made money off of him.
