Man, Its BBQ Season ...How about some odd stuff?

Dig this...Ed VH hanging out with the drummer from REO Speed Wagon, Bryan May from Queen and a bassist ya never heard of, doing a soundtrack for a kid's scy-fy show?

    Yep, me neither.

Wasn't that Jeff Beck's bass player from the Wired and Blow By Blow days?

I got the record. I bought it when it came out. It's got some pictures on the sleeve of the guys hanging around jamming during the recording session. If you want to hear Ed play like Clapton, it's on there.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

it's a fun record. ed is losing a string somewhere on the record what you can hear, because they left it very raw.

Yup. Phil Chen played with Rod Stewart, too.

Ironically enough, he went from Beck's group, to (former Beck vocalist) Rod's post-Faces band, to (former Beck bass player) Ronnie Wood's New Barbarians, where he filled in because Stanley Clarke couldn't make the trip to the UK, for whatever reason....
