It's the buckle off a Wehrmacht utility belt. It went on the big leather belt that your ammo pouches, canteen, bayonet hung on. To help hold the weight a "Y" strap hooked onto the ammo pouches and back of the belt. You stuffed the potato smasher grenades inside the belt if you needed to.



I was in an army surplus store and they had a big box of East German trench shovels and wire cutters. I was digging through it and found a belt, ammo pouches, and "Y" strap with the Gott Mitt Uns buckle still on it. WWII score! The leather was a bit dry but some leather conditioner helped. It's got the company in Berlin that made the "Y" strap stamped onto them. It's got the Soldier's name written on them too in fountain pen. Whoever Weider was I got his belt and suspenders.

The ad or whatever you call it is a bit misleading. The ruling only covered the part about contraceptives for females. Does the company you work for pay for contraceptives for men or do you buy them yourself if you use them?
