I like this song. They are a bit harder then Van Halen, but I like them.

I'd say the singer also grew up listening to Glenn Danzig. Apparently the drummer did too, going by his t shirt.

    Indeed - it's got the '50s rock 'n' roll/ B Movie schtidt to it.

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!

I think what stands out as far as modern metal goes is how stronger the melodies are.

Volbeat ROCKS! Bought the new CD and love it! I was a little suprised that it has a bit of a Country Rock sound to it. Not that it would make a difference. It actually works for this album. I havnt found one song on it that I dont like. I am very impressed and have become more of a fan of these guys! I really like the lead singers voice it seems to fit perfectly for there sound.

yea I figured that out when I did more research on there other cds. Pretty interesting considering Queensryche did that and KISS with the Elder. Queensryche's worked. KISS didn't unless you are a KISS fan you wouldn't get it. I'm a huge KISS fan and like the ELDER but most casual KISS fans didn't like it due to that concept.

the new Volbeat's cd is a western story concept its pretty good if you have watched the old westerns. That's what I got out of it plus you get the Idea from the song titles

I like those guys they are good I admit I don't know A whole lot about them. What 93x has played I've only heard but I have heard is awesome!

Check out a Band called Black Veil Brides they are really good. The one song that is main stream right now is, (In the End) you might like. it The whole cd is good Its different but it to has the Story concept too. Its basically there view on birth to death in a good way though like I said different.

This track is getting a lot of air play on local terrestrial radio lately and I'm just now noticing. I think I dig their sound. Probably the best music that's come out of Europe since Deep Purple! Correction, maybe since the Van Halens emigrated out of the Netherlands!
