Listen everyone - I live 10 minutes from Ferguson . The entire area is shutting down and being put on alert . Lotsa rumblings from all sides . Most everyone is hoping for the best but expecting the worst . I got a memo at work today explaining my companies plan of operations just in case . This shit isn't funny and it isn't going away anytime soon . I am a level headed person and I do have a CCW . I've had it for several years now . Years before , when my late wife and I owned a bar I carried anyways just because . The cop shop next door knew this and looked the other way . Gun and ammo sales locally are off the charts as well as applications for CCW's . I'm of the opinion that God himself gave me this gift of life and by God , I will do what I have to do to protect that gift . St. Louis is a historically racially divided city with a long and ugly history of violent crime . The local and national media is doing no one any favors by sensationalizing this situation . Seems like we've always been just one incident away from being right where we are right now . Hopefully cooler heads will prevail . The announcement will be at 8:00 pm central , some 2 1/2 hours from now . If anyone believes , pray for peace and stability .

It's obvious that this decision was made weeks ago, and that they are dragging it out, because they KNOW they fucked up, and are hoping in vain that by announcing their pre-fabricated outcome 2 fucking days before a holiday they can minimize both the protests AND the corporate media coverage.

Well they're half right. The mediawhores will probably be gone by Wednesday night. I wouldn't be so sure about a community that feels like they got fucked up the ass without lube, once again. They probably won't be feeling all that "thankful".
