Now, many fans (an non fans) in the course of Van Halen's history have questioned Dave's gender preference...There seems to be people always making rumors of Dave being bisexual or full-on gay. But here's my question to the Roth Army (get your torches and pitchforks ready)....Would it affect your opinion on the Toastmaster General of Rock N' Roll if it did come out that he was bisexual?

My opinion is....No. It would NOT affect my opinion or my view on Dave if he was bisexual. In the long run, it really doesn't matter what he likes, He'd still be the coolest motherfucker on the planet.

There are a lot of out-of-the-closet gay stars like Doogie Howser that are in long term, even monogamous, relationships. If Dave is gay or bi, that's fine. But he hasn't seemed to find a life-mate in his own gender either. So, I'm sorting of calling bullshit on the full on gay stuff. Perhaps he had some gay encounters when he was younger and under the whole androgynous Bowie thing. But it seems that Dave is incapable or a serious long term relationship regardless of gender. So the typical "he's just gay" thing doesn't apply anymore. And yes, the rumor that he "married his (male) chef" is also complete interweb bullshit as well. I think Dave has tried everything on the menu...twice. I also think if Dave were gay at some point Eddie, Alex or Michael would have made comments about that at the height of their hatred towards each other. I have never heard of any. Dave thinks on a different wavelength than most of us and probably is comfortable in his own sexuality. If anything it would probably give his career a boost and open up a new fanbase for himself as crazy as that sounds. At the very least he has banged more" beautiful girls" than any of us in 20 lifetimes. This whole topic is a total "whatever" to me. Just my 2 cents.

I've actually seen Pansy Division live. They used to do club tours of the West Coast all the time, even hitting smaller towns like Olympia. It wasn't a gay club either. Still only one gay bar in town as far as I know, and they don't have live bands. I like them because they're a punk band with a sense of humor. It's been years since I saw that movie. And I'm pretty sure I was in some form of chemically induced alternate reality when I saw it, so I really don't remember much. Is it out on Bluray or DVD?
