Burn through the first 15 minutes of Trunk talking about himself and the interview starts. Not bad. He definitely wants back in, most likely for the same reason Dave wanted it. Spoke kindly of Wolf. He hasn't spoken to Ed and Al since '04 which I was hoping not to hear. He does sound a little more like he quit, but was put in a bad spot. He was surprised at how Gary was treated, too. In any case, worth checking out a midst these slow VH news days.

Yeah, I found it to be a really good interview. I've always liked MA...nothing has changed for me. Interesting that MA refers to DLR as "Roth" at one point in the interview. Also, Trunk basically goes out of his way to let you know he's hearing NOTHING about the guys doing new music. Said there have been a few rumors of a FEW possible live dates, but nothing else in the VH camp and that Wolf is working with Tremonti. He seemed frustrated just like the rest of us. The VH boys are geniuses, but ride that line of being brilliant and just nothing more than whack jobs!!

Interesting that Mike says he's not interested in writing a book just yet because he would make too many enemies. I can't imagine him divulging so much damning information about other people in a book about his life the way his buddy did. Even in this interview, he said "not to mention any names" at least a few times. While the possibility of returning to VH remains remote, he is wise to not burn the bridge.

Great interview...sounds like he wasn't given a clear 'you are in or you are out' sort of ultimatum but 'Ed the EGO' was having one of his tantrums and as Mike said 'backed him against a wall' so he played rather than not playing. Then after that, it would have been the tour deal in which Ed made Mike sign 'his rights to VH' away to do the tour.

One thing remains consistent: Ed's a d!ck.
