      Ha! Very true. I've seen several weekend warrior bands with superb immaculate high-end guitars that bling so much the audience and the band both need to wear shades.

        No offence to any one here but I really hate the relic thing.

        Maybe it's because I spent so many years playing crappy beat up guitars when I had no money or maybe it's just because it's fake shit.

        Back when I was young I played to hundreds of people with $140 guitars and it was always a worry about tuning or dodgy connections or strings breaking on rusty bridges so these relic people can fuck off.

        The only good thing about it was nobody got jealous of your stuff and when half the audience play guitar that's a good thing.

              Yeah, 12 strings on a bass is serious overkill, but you gotta admit this Tom Petersson/Gretsch bass is a work of art.....
