Happy Birthday from the three of us! And all the friends from the old neighborhood. Vince is a lawyer for County Counsel and bought the house three up from the old garage. Strange how many people from the area were such a part of those lovely go out and staple Van Halen (Mammoth, Red Ball Jet, etc) fliers all over. It was fun.

I missed Dave's birthday but was drunk through most of it, so in a sense I didn't.
The local rock radio station is playing Classic Van Halen for "Rocktober," LOL. They especially seem to love Hot For Teacher and Everybody Wants Some! in heavy rotation...

I remember back when the ADKOT tour was cut short and my local rock radio station basically blamed Dave and said that he was once again, being an egotistical asshole and played two Van Hagar (the fucking DJs called it "real Van Halen with Sammy") songs just to spite VH. Now, I usually don't fucking give a shit if a radio station wants to play Van Halen music that is obviously totally inferior to classic Van Halen, but just the fact that they did it out of spite was pretty damn shitty.
No one knew that it was because Ed may have been beginning having problems with the fucking diverticulitis, and THATS why they cancelled the rest of the tour.How do you spell pretentious? S-A-M-M-Y H-A-G-A-RComment
