People hate steel mills but hate it when the steel town dies because the steel mill disappeared. Apparently all they sell in Gary now are drugs and fucking. The town could inspire some kick ass blues songs. I got the cheap fuck blues. I got the cocaine ain't good no more blues. I got the bedbug blues...

Gary is on the south shore of Lake Michigan. Actually there is some nice lake shore near there. Since they aren't making steel anymore and the town dried up like a ghost town, why not make something of the location? That's what I was getting at. Why go to Ohio to ride roller coasters on the lake shore? Build it in Gary and then since the town is already going back to nature well let's go all the way and make it a wild life preserve. Since the only structure maintained and landscaped is the Jackson home let's expand on that and make a botanical garden.

Since they make no steel in Gary the roller coasters will have to be made of Chinese steel and since there is no money in Gary, it will have to be financed by Chinese money. Right now the Chinese are on a real estate buying spree. They can buy Gary.

GARY — Anith Jones left Gary City Court last week and disappeared.

Jones, 35, of Merrillville, hasn’t been seen since Oct. 8, and her family members and friends are worried she has come to harm.

So do Gary police, who recovered her car Friday night and found evidence inside it that suggests she may be the victim of foul play.

Detectives Cpl. James Nielsen and Daryl Gordon are investigating the woman’s disappearance. They organized a search Wednesday morning of the Colonial Gardens neighborhood where her 2001 silver Chevrolet Prism was located, parked in the driveway of a vacant house.

About 30 officers, including new recruits in pretraining who are waiting to attend the police academy next month, gathered in the 4900 block of Louisiana Street in the drizzle. They searched vacant lots, empty homes and surrounding wooded areas to no avail.

A cadaver dog didn’t find any trace of Jones in the area either, Nielsen said.

Child sex trafficking is rampant now. Children from third world countries are orphaned or kidnapped and sent to various parts of the world. Gary would be a prime spot for such activity. The light is being shined on international child trafficking and child sex being used to entrap politicians and influenctial people in power. A pedifile would be totally blackmailable. Probably a possible reason British parliament seems to have it's fair number of pedifiles there. I'm sure it's the same story in Washington DC. Is Boehner a child molester? He's a gutless wonder. The Obama Administration has something on him. Sick crap going on.

Population and politics were related. A succession of white ethnic mayors in the 1950s and 1960s ended in 1967 with the election of Richard G. Hatcher, one of the nation's first big-city black mayors. White flight to nearby suburbs had already begun in the 1960s, but Hatcher's election and subsequent confrontational style speeded the process considerably, paralleled now by white business flight as well. As descendants of European immigrants emptied out of the city, the population declined dramatically to 116,646 by 1990, while the proportion of African Americans rose to over 80 percent. With a secure black power base, Hatcher was reelected four times, an unusual record for big-city administrations, and served a total of 20 years as Gary's mayor.

There was a "White Flight" from the city which decreased the overall population of the town. Less taxpayers... less money for the goverment to provide services for the city.
Steel left. Drugs creeped in.. etc. Just stating fact. That is what led to the problems in the city.

Corrupt politicians buying votes until they break the golden goose. The citizens are also to blame. They take the welfare without any regard to their future. I've never seen any city flourish on the welfare for votes model. It only brings decay. Sitting there blaming everyone does nothing. There are doers and there are complainers. In the US today the doers and dreamers are under attack. The establishment wants more do what you are told, dependent slaves.
