So, it happened like this. Six months ago, I saw an SG standard natural burst for sale. The guitar looked amazing . In all my years of rock I've never had one, so I bought it.
When it eventually arrived (after all the shipping negotiations) and I lifted it out of the case, it felt like a toy. I'm used to heavy guitars. My Teleblaster is two big thick hunks of wood bolted together.
This guitar instantly changed my vibe. Then, another one popped up cheaper, more road worn and lighter. Fucking lighter!!
So I snapped up that one, too. I've gone from never having an SG to a matching pair in less than half a year, and I fucking love 'em.
Now I know why Angus likes them.
