Hey whatever but are you not a student? I wear a $100 watch, it's not something I worry about. All I need is something that's waterproof and doesn't lose more than 10 seconds a month.

We all have our vanities I guess, I've been teased recently for usually wearing expensive clothes by my band mates but I have to say as I get older I've become more and more against displays of wealth be it cars or jewelry. I think it's a bit of a waste of money you could better spend on more interesting experiences, it antagonizes people who get jealous and its just something else to worry about.

I do admire the Victorinox when it comes to both affordability and elegance but again, can never go for steel bands. They're uncomfortable, slip too easily, freeze your wrist in winter bakes it in summer and the jeweler can never adjust them right. I do like this model but would swap it out for a black leather band:

No. I bought a Victorinox last year as a Christmas present and kind of fell in love with them. I was just looking at them today when I came across that Omega. Maybe, someday as a graduation prezzie to myself.
