He sounded great but why does he clip his vocals ? I'd like to hear him sing in that lazy laughing way he used to do. Is it hard for him to sing that way now?

Not going to say it didn't cross my mind when I saw the bald head, but he's actually singing better and moving more than he was on the last tour, so that's counter-intuitive to somebody who's going through chemo (which would explain the baldness). Also he doesn't appear to have lost any weight, which would also be a likely side effect of such an illness.

Some times a bald head is just a bald head. I shave my head every summer. Wouldn't do it in the winter, because it's too goddamned cold. But then, I don't live in California.

Anyway, what a blast! Dave must have been longing badly for some stage action, seeing how he delivers. His balls have been filling up with rage.

And what an awesome way for Dave Grohl to celebrate his B-day, as the CVH fan he is! He definitely knows how to party. Props to him!

I am not thrilled with his live vocals but it's where he is at...wish he'd bring it down a bit.

Dave sounded at his best in 07-08. I would guess you're referring to the 2012 tour and the 2013 tour as the last two tours? I believe his vocals were fine at the end of the '12 tour and all of the gigs in '13. It would be amazing if he could reclaim his 2008 or 2003 vocals!

I saw the Edmonton show in 07....I was tickled pink but even then I thought it could have been better...definite moments that where great but then songs like Jump just fall flat.

There was a show planned for my city in Sask. during 08 but that leg got cancelled.

That's a pretty funny photoshop... yet kinda fucked up at the same time (some wild and crazy guys!). But oh well, I think Dave is finally free... free from worrying about his hair. Previously he was constantly running his hands over what he had left, very conscious of what he didn't have. I've watched several different recordings of this performance and it took a few to grow on me, but finally realized Dave put out a fine performance and I'm digging the new look and attitude.

Far be it for me to stand up for Ki$$ but Stanley can claim that onstage he is in costume so a wig is fine in the same way that Ted Danson or Sean Connery would wear a wig while playing a part but be bald offscreen/stage.

It's funny how these 'rules' come about, I don't know who makes them.

I was at watching Ray Luzier last weekend supporting Slipknot and it seems that because the Slipknot people put on masks and dress in funny costumes it's ok for most of them to get fat as they move into middle age.

The hair follicles are harvested from an area of thick hair and transplanted.
