Fuck Chuck. Jimmy took care of that fucker. Say what you want about Jimmy, but he has a good heart. That's more than you can say for that douchebag brother of his.

Has anyone else noticed how great the camera angles and music are in this show? Man, that whole segment where Mike stole the money from the Kettlemans (jazz trio: lead bass, keys and drums) along with the ending, with Jimmy kicking the shit out of his dream office's door (somber, light strings) and sitting, defeated on the floor as his phone rings was stunning, artistic as all hell work.
And the episode involving Mike killing the cops, and his telling of the tale deserves the actor an Emmy.
If you have not picked up on this show, there is a marathon on xfinity this week.
Seriously, compared to Breaking Bad, I thought this would be an afterthought. Fact is, it is on it's way to equal that epic show.

Von Halen (04-10-2015)
When all that stuff was on, I had a boy playing travel hockey, then when he was 16, we had another one that also ended up playing travel hockey. I never had time to watch tv. If I wasn't at hockey in the evenings, I was building my '71 Challenger. After my wife passed, I spent the time building the VH Buggy. I'm taking more time to catch up on some of these shows lately, but I'm actually feeling like I'm spending too much time doing that now. Thank goodness the weather is starting to warm up. I need to get the engine out of the buggy this weekend, to do some more tweaking on it.
So happy this show turned out to be great. That scene where he talked about the Chicago moonroof was classic

Great stuff season 2 has started.
I'm not sure I like it just quite as much as Breaking Bad but it's a great show.
Trivia from episode 1 includes Clifford Main the boss of Jimmy's new company was the original Spinal Tap drummer so that's 2/4 of the band in the show now.
The actor who plays the nerdy guy Price(guy with Hummer)used to be 'The Zim Zam YoYo Man'. As a prank he sent a press release around 12 morning TV shows claiming to be a yoyo champion who was touring schools using yoyos as a way to teach kids about the environment. From the 12 offers he got 10 invitations to shows and appeared on 6 or 7 before they realised...
The 'Nitro' type stockbroker that Jimmy scams is the same guy whose car Walt blows up in season 1 of Breaking Bad for being an obnoxious asshole.
The $50 a shot tequila that they get him to buy a bottle of (in the UK that would work out at $1500 but less in the US I think) is the same stuff that Gus uses as poison in BB.

Also shows the popularity of the show that when you go into Google and start to type squat cobbler it auto completes...![]()

Season off to a slow start, but I'm confident things will get ratcheted up soon enough. I thought BB actually started out as more of a dark comedy than what it had evolved into. This show's characters that are new to Breaking Bad universe have all been developed well enough to enter their potential final-phase of the story arch. Remember, there are only a scant few on this show who even exist on BB.
I think they are hoping to do about 4 seasons so things can't move too fast.
I hope Mike stays healthy, Jonathan Banks is pushing 70 and he's one of the best things in it.

Every chance that will happen. I hear there is a lot of Mike in this season. I think originally they were going to go from Jimmy to Saul quicker but found that they really liked Jimmy.
I fear that horrible things will be done to him to turn him into Saul, it doesn't bode well for Kim in the long term...

Igo this is the golden age of US TV. I totally agree that the day to day stuff is horrendous but you have half a dozen mainly non network series which are better than most of the stuff that is in the cinemas or ever has been.
Pay your $5 to Netflix and watch a season of Breaking Bad...

I have to admit TV could never hold my attention. I mostly read, and use the tv as a white noise if at all. I could never watch TV only without reading as it wasn't enough if that makes sense.
Fair enough.
TV used to be the thing I did when I had nothing else to do. Nowadays you always have something else to do if only because you have most of human knowledge, porn and games in your pocket.
That said I still watch maybe 8 hours of TV a week which is maybe the least I have ever watched in my life but it's a mainly super selective 8 hours and Better Call Saul is one of the hours.
If the TV is on, it's something worthwhile... Like a documentary. I'd like to say I am that sophisticated, but it's more an intolerance to the stupid shit I have no use for.
Being unemployed at the moment, I watch way too much TV. Every day it's the same thing. Wake up, drink coffee, check ads, send out resume's, do some cold calls, go for a walk if it's nice out and then mindlessly binge watch something. I break it up by cleaning house a bit but a one bedroom apartment doesn't take long to clean.
Hopefully I find a job soon so I can have a fucking life...

Kim and Jimmy watching Ice Station Zebra on TV was a nice little call back(forward?) to Breaking Bad.
Ice Station Zebra Associates is the name of a holding company used by Saul Goodman for tax evasion. In the episode "Abiquiú", Skyler White decides to intervene in Saul and Walter White's money laundering plans in part because she was unimpressed when Saul presented her with a check from Ice Station Zebra Associates.
Ice Station Zebra Associates is also seen in small print in the television commercials for Saul's law firm.
"Ice Station Zebra" is itself a 1963 Cold War intrigue novel, adapted in 1968 as a better-known film starring Rock Hudson and Ernest Borgnine. The movie itself appears in "Amarillo", watched by Saul (James McGill at the time) and Kim Wexler .
Its getting good...young Hector Salamanca last night was a trip..

Does Kim get pissed and sue or play along with Chucks ego...
I think she plays along
Didnt notice the bell..door chime or order up bell?
Boring episode last week - Hector appearance with the godfather overtone was cool though...
We know Hector and Tuco are in BB (so Mike doesn't kill either of them)
Does he bend over or does Jimmy save the day with another squat cobbler
(Gonna go with squat cobbler part 2)

I liked it but a bit of a Kim episode.
Third series was confirmed this week.
Speaking of foreshadowing, looks like we may see these guys tonight...
