I bet I could make them win Zah. But they'd have to bust their balls. Well, as much as doing a media tour, and other things the right way, would be busting balls. I could turn this fan base on its fucking head. Any number of us could do that. But they would have to put their pride, and their ignorance aside. They would have to hear some things they don't want to hear, or can't seem to accept. There are ways to do the right things, they just aren't interested in doing them.

As someone at VHND said, Van Halen is a project not a band these days and that's up to them they're getting old but Roth should be able to release and tour solo projects.

I've never followed DLR on Twitter, visited his youtube channel or his site. I have to assume some if not all have a comments feature, yes? I'm thinking going "black" was his way of getting ahead of the backlash because he knew this would go over like a fart in church.

Let's be real here. When you're "following" Dave, you're not really following Dave. Unless you see a video with him in it, or hear his voice, it's not really him. To embrace social media, you have to be somewhat "social".

Maybe Dave is so enamored with the Japanese culture, because he really wants to be a Ninja!

As much as I appreciate VH putting something out, I really do think it's simply too late for them to start doing the Rush model and releasing a live album every tour. They really should have started doing that as far back as the Van Halen III tour in 1998 or the 2004 Epic Fail tour.

So even the cheerleaders looking forward to this shit and were excited about having Dave's voice fixed got disappointed, too.

That's what I don't get. The entire show (not just audio) is available on the Tubes. I'm assuming the sound quality will be better, but other than that, what's the motivation to by the live album?
