    I like his shows for the BBC, but I think he needs to get laid ... to release some of that pent up thingummy ... Angst

        As VHScraps said his BBC documentaries on the US are really good, he's done about 6 over the last few years.

        They bust a lot of myths and uncover some warts but are also affectionate and nostalgic as well. I was reminded of them listening to an interview with him today where he was saying how much freedom he had got making them and gave the biopic segment as an example of something he could never do in a documentary for US TV.

              Always wondered what happened to Rich Hall after "Not Necessarily The News" went off the air. Didn't realize he'd moved across the pond.....

                I like Rich Hall and only just heard about this Sniglets thing which was US rather than UK but looks to me as thought it was completely ripped off from The Meaning of Liff by Douglas Adams. Maybe he bought the rights though as "Not Necessarily The News" was a remake of a UK format by the same people...
