    Question Dave's blues

    What's his best blues number?

    What's your favorite?

Do you prefer his blues to authentic hard rock tunes?

I always thought VH could do an entire bluesy album in the same way Gary Moore did "Still Got The Blues". Basically, Van Halenize the blues.

I really like "Could This Be Magic". "Sensible Shoes" is bluesy. "Don't Piss Me Off" is probably the most traditional blues song Dave has done, and it is great. I'm sure I'm missing some.

"Tell The Truth" is a monster!

    Same with "Mississippi Power".

I was thinking the same thing the other day while watching Dave and Ed blues it up during the mid section of Somebody Get Me A Dr. from the '07/'08 tour. That's when the two of them compliment each other most.

Dave's voice is perfect for the blues.

I think I have read an article about that when YFLM came out.
his plan was rejected by Warner and he made a shitty one instead.

maybe ”Mississippi Power” is a song written for that blues album?
