I can barely play guitar in comparison but the weird thing is when I listen to that clip I can taste and feel the sound...I have the 50watt version and the Special Stealth. It is entirely different to play in front of those amps at high volumes. The closed cabinet (Baltic birch) on the combo is killer

That phoning it in shit he does sometimes with the random improvisation with notes that dont even belong in the key of the song is real bad sometimes. If he does that on national TV it will make the band look like shit.

I do wish they would have some rock'etts on stage like at the Henson show, or some small side action..but VH is straight forward R&R, so be it.

Not real bluesy the VH show..it is a different swing than anyone else has.

I like the candy girls approach and the visual appeal of the long legged ultra fems.

There isn't much doowop! that they will use some fem back up group to add to the show, in VH music so a sexy row of back-up singers to add won't be happening. DLR solo projects lend to that stage set up lots of ideas for eye candy when Dave left VH....not so much with..... diff style of approach.
