I gotta tell you Von, since the prospect of Michael Anthony returning to Van Halen has become a possibility. I have relapsed into full throttle Van Halen obsession.

I haven't been this excited since I heard my first Van Halen song in the very early 80's....

It's hard to believe it's been almost 15 years (May 10th 2000) since this Roth Army message board first opened!

That kinda sounds like Dave singing live now, minus the high pitch screech-yelp...

Is that an insult or a compliment?

I don't like it live, however...

In front of an audience is NOT the time to learn the songs...

I've had that unreleased WACF track for a while - can't remember where I got it, but the song title on my copy is "Act Like It Hurts." I've always liked it.

                        Thanks for the info!

I have lots of demos and tons of stuff from WACF but "Act Like It Hurts" isn't on there.

Some say that Honeybabysweetiedoll was born out of that riff. I don't know that I follow that notion, but the little cowbell break worked it's way into House Of Pain.

Sweet, another gem from the archives. Too bad all the other "16 albums worth of material" are decaying in Eddie's garage.

The unreleased track has a little bit of House Of Pain in it....
