I honestly am happy for all of you who have convinced yourself that this is what DLR has always been like
and sounded like... if so, then continue to enjoy the greatness that is 2015 Diamond Dave.

I really thought after '07/'08 that there was no stopping the VH Express... and ADKOT was masterful in my opinion (although a hint of strained vocals were present)... but for me, Cafe Wha? on has been nothing less than perplexing... and embarrassing...

I will never be convinced that THIS is what is passing for The Mighty Van Halen...

He doesn't always, Dave was pretty good on Kimmel. I think doing "Jump" was a shitty selection no doubt by Ellen. They should have done a drunken rendition of "Everybody Wants Some!" with Dave complaining about squirting water and how he was going to fuck Ellen backstage, pal!

Since 07-08, I have low to no expectations at all...its all gravy since then. The Ellen performance by VH is brilliant. In addition, Dave says all the right things after the song. I understand they may have flaws but VH is a party band. Not to be enjoyed sober. ROCK ON!!
