Dave said something about smelling reefer at the San Berdo show? I thought I smelled some really good shit coming out of the local casino saturday but it turned out to be a real skunk. One of the valets tried to soosh it away and got sprayed pretty good.

I was. It was hot hot hot that day. Spent a shitload of time under the huge showers they had set up to cool people off but I still felt like I wasn't gonna make it to see VH perform. The long intermission between The Scorps and VH didn't help either but my friend and I fought and shoved our way to the front of the stage only to find ourselves driven off to one side in a human stampede right before VH actually started playing. We saw their entire set from the right corner of the stage. It wasn't a bad place to end up though because it was close to the exit we needed to reach to get back to the car. Smoked the last joint my asshole buddy was kind enough to save me out of the twenty I brought that I didn't get to smoke and went to sleep. Seemed like I barely closed my eyes and I was home even though it took a couple hours to get out of the parking lot and another hour and a half on the highway.
Some songs Roth always sounds good on and some he always sounds awful. Good = Beautiful Girls and I'll Wait. Awful always = Dance The Night Away. Build the set round the songs he sounds good on and drop the ones that are painful to hear.

I have to watch youtube videos, I haven't got the money to cross the Atlantic and they're not coming to Europe, However I'm so happy so see Dirty Movies and Drop Dead Legs being played, 2 of my favourites, also very happy there's a vid on youtube where you see Ed play the intro to Dirty Movies. I had started a thread about what he was up to in that amazing intro some years backSuperb setlist! It's absolutely stellar, Dave is singing much better. Got the Tokyo Dome live CD, liked it a lot, would be nice to bring out a DVD of this tour, they are tighter than before and as I said the setlist is amazing. I think there was tension in the first few shows, but they seem more relaxed and having fun. I hope this will mean they'll get back to the studio when the tour is over
