Wow !!
That recording is awesome...
They sound way more like the real thing then they do now...
Time flies, eh ??
FF to 11:40...
It's amazing that was only 2007...
They suck now compared to that...
Well, some of the background vocals were being piped in. You can really hear it on that recording.
But way way beyond that, Dave is staying in the proper register. Wow. What a fucking difference.
How dare some dumbasses around here claim the Jap show is even fucking close to that performance.
Amen to that...
That's the real deal right there...
I'll take that show over Tokyo any day !!!
That's what Edwad doesn't understand...
We have Youtube !!!
I'll have to check this out. I was at the post-break show in May of '08 at the Meadowlands. Dave was great, Ed was on auto-pilot, Wolf was filling his pants and Al was Al.
Someone should tie Roth down to chair and force him to listen to this....
Dave seems 100 years younger in that clip...
Drugs are bad...Mkay ??
This show really is awesome...
I'm still listening...
And I gotta say Ed is doing pretty good considering the bad spots Ive seen from that tour...
I like the looseness...
Even DTNA is good...
This is the kind of show that makes me feel bad for slamming these guys...
This is one of my favorite boots I have from this tour. Really good show.
Here comes Atomic Punk...
Oh man...
That's good stuff...
Gives me goosebumps...
That's the shit right there...
Even with the mistakes...
On EWS, Dave carries the entire tune...
Ed should be kissing Dave's ass for that...
Maybe that's why he's still in the band...
But seriously, geez...
Fuck DLR for not being prepared for the Kimmel appearance...
He could be on top of the world right now...
Obviously he doesn't give a fuck.
Obviously he doesn't give a fuck about the legacy. Doesn't give a fuck about the songs. Doesn't give a fuck about US, the fucking FANS!
But hey, why should he? There are still dumbasses willing to shell out big bucks to go watch him suck hind tit.
You can easily hear the limitations of Edwad on So This Is Love and the intro to Mean Street...
Back to crackheadville...
I don't think Dave has it in him any more. I hope I get proved wrong and have to eat those words during this summer's tour.
I saw two shows that tour...
And I bought tickets for both family and friends...
I sure wouldn't do that now...
I wonder if Dave was super psyched this tour because it was his shot to re-establish his and Van Halen's legacy. He was certainly up to the task...
Is he just complacent now? Maybe he needs to be on a series of 90 day contracts?
Lol...also listening to the performance...Dave does the Indian yelp thing in Panama.
The bottom line is this show is Dave all the way...
