Remind these fucking boyband posers and idiots who think a turntable is a musical instrument what REAL rock & roll sounds like.
Boy bands aren't going to care. They play what THEY like. Are you saying everyone should be rock? That's as bad as expecting VH to sound like they did 30 years ago.

Agreed. Frankly, I would love to see Dave more on the late night talk show circuit.

I don't imagine Dave is in the same role/capacity as before he tried to become a movie star. Doubt he's viewed by his bandmates as a 25% part of the team, no way he's compensated as such.
Ed and Al are probably taking a bigger cut and Wolf and Dave get smaller cuts, shit Ed might pay his son more than Screech.

Anyone who is anticipating this live performance is a moron....

Dave sings like that dudes wife who got put in the electric shock room from "cat's eye".

Hides it better? Well, only if, like me, you don't usually listen to it.

              Cheers!
Astounding...nothing short of it. Nicely, and divinely played.

Yup...it's going to be a glorified "Ellen" performance, filled with the same cringe-worthy Dave moments.

Instead of just going out there with the swagger and kicking ass, Dave's going to overplay it and come off looking like an ass again.

As long as Dave is not mincing about like a filthy old whore with that creepy grin, it won't be so bad. I know that won't happen, but still...

If anything, it will be Kimmel x10.

He's going to be so over-amped about being on prime-time TV on the BBMA's that he might actually add involuntarily shitting his pants to his stage repertoire.

I don't know, aside from the over the top gum chewing I thought he was ok on Kimmel. It was that creepy contortionist stuff coupled with the don't leave your children with this man grin that got me about Ellen.

The legacy is being destroyed more and more with each cringe worthy performance....

Either wrap it up and go out with a bang with Michael Anthony....

If Mike can even save them at this point...

                              What legacy ????

We have a group of young rock fans at work all hyper about going to see acdc for the first time at the mo . They have no idea who van halen are or the ones that do have heard of van hager.
                              fuck your fucking framing

I think that there is an issue here about CVH outside of the USA. Compare CVH to Led Zepp, AC/DC, Kiss, Aerosmith or a host of other great bands and it is embarassing how poorly they have engaged a younger audience on this side of the pond.
