Yes, I took screenshots from archive.
This took my about 30 minutes to construct this post.
We've always been the premiere site but the slawterhouse and TK! are part of the DLR Internet history.
I think this was maybe the first DLR interview I read on the internet...
It's fucking 540 AM here Vandy give me a break!
Vandy, Vandy bring me my Brandy!!!
One reason I have a hard time with Dave's interviews these days... he's covered a lot of territory and used the same clever lines too many times. This was classic back then and some of it was fresh... Glad he's moved on from the military tactical speak... but on the other hand he didn't exactly go plowing fertile land since.
"If you want to be a monk... you gotta cook a lot of rice...”
Thanks again for putting my article on the main page.
If you scroll down the main you'll notice I have FOUR in a row posted by me.
You guys rock!
Thanks Warf !
You bring back some cool memories!
Dolmite Motherfucker!!!
This is the shit right here dynamite stuff totally appreciate this posting. I saw a smaller part of this from the internet machine on the Mojo Dojo last year but these full complete scans are way better thanks a million.
I remember checking Slawterhouse back then once in a while back then it was Orange if I remember correctly. Never did see much of it always wondered about the Dave TV stuff and that Look At All The People Here Tonight tune I never did get to hear it.
Check this out right here Red Beard radio interview from 1991 he recently uploadeded it. Some cool dialogue Dave mentions many of his blues influences like Steve Marriott from Humble Pie (supposedly the first concert Dave ever saw ) , as well as other mentions of other acts and influences....it's a pretty good interview.
I know hardly anyone will actually click the link and listen since most just crack wise smartass shit with each other here but here's the link anyways.
