Anyone know her last name? Dave mentions her on the Roth show. He mentions training with her for about a year before they took their trip to New Guinnea.
"Went to New Guinnea with a girlfriend at the time. We determined that we were gonna cross over the Star Mountains, down into the Sepik River. We trained for that for a year, running.
I never had a thirtieth birthday. I planned this accordingly. Crossed the International dateline-you have to fly to Sydney, before you go from Sydney to Port Moresby, New Guinnea. Cross the International dateline, you lose a day. My birthday’s October tenth; we left on the ninth, landed on the eleventh. I never turned thirty."
