      Nice font! I wonder if they were in a proto Death Metal phase ...



      I have been reading 'Swedish Death Metal', a book by Daniel Ekeroth - I've never really listened to this stuff, but it's a fascinating read - and he tells the story of how Bathory used rub-on letter sets to make the band logo, and for the song titles as they appeared on the rear album sleeve. Some song titles were wrong simply because they ran out of rub-on letters!

        They have probably copied one of these, either because making a mess with the rub-on letters (I know, I used to do it!) can be bloody costly or because they couldn't buy big enough letrasets! Ah, the pre- computer DIY design age ...

            Same here... also used those Letrset sheets to make band flyers and business card layouts to send to the printers.
