Axl is supposedly appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live next week.

I was at a party at Jimmy Kimmel's the other day. Jimmy told me that Axl wants his dressing room stocked with five dozen Krispy Kremes, and that Axl had his mic stand re-designed to hold all the donuts.

Oh, no. FUCK no, bro!
I'd go as high as maybe $75 a ticket for that double bill. If that's too lowball to get tix for said show, fuck 'em: I don't NEED to see either band now.
Shelled out $250 for 2 tickets (just tickets alone, not including parking, t-shirts, dinner, drinks, etc.) for each of the 2008 and 2012 Van Halen shows I saw. NEITHER of those shows were worth what I paid to see them, and seeing Eddie and Dave onstage together playing CVH material was something I had been hoping for since 1996.
G n R I could give a shit about seeing these days, and $75 per ticket is pretty generous on my part. And THAT is on the condition that the ENTIRE Appetite lineup reunite. Even cokehead Adler.
I wouldn't pay a nickel to see Axl and Slash live, although I may be willing to spend 5 minutes of my time watching a youtube clip of it provided the lead-in ad can either be skipped after 4 seconds or is less than 10 seconds long...

This is a classic example of how to sell a trainwreck. Who would insure this tour?

Good question.
I wonder if Axl is still managed by Irving Azoff.
You would think that Irving would have learned his lesson when he was responsible for Van Hagar's Velveetapalooza 2004 trainwreck tour.

If the Tasmanian is to be trusted, it's probably Richard Fortus on guitar and Frank Ferrer on drums. I don't think Stinson has commented on the reunion yet.
Coachella lineup announced today. Article in Variety says:
I expected Duff, but not Sorum. We'll see what Axhole has to say.Original Guns N’ Roses members Axl Rose and Slash are expected to reunite on the Coachella main stage alongside bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum, marking the group’s first appearance together in two decades.
Guns N’ Roses will then launch a North American summer after Coachella that may include up to 25 stadiums. According to Billboard, L.A. rockers are demanding $3 million per show and up to $250-$275 per ticket. Guns N’ Roses will play alongside another magnet from the ’80s and ’90s, rapper Ice Cube, on Saturday night.
Guns n Roses and Ice Cube on the same bill could be interesting. Back in the day, AxHole claimed to be a fan of NWA.
I'm not going to pay $275 to see that, but I might watch it on pay per view, should that happen.

I refuse to listen to that demonic rap "music".
Just type what it means, no need for a video.

Ice Cube is a fag. You wanna go full on black then you gotta go with Ice T.
Not sure he's all that credible anymore either. He recorded a song called "Cop Killer", got booted off his record label over it, and then turned around and played a cop on TV. Actually I always thought a great inside joke for "Law & Order" would be if they showed him riding around in his cop car with his own music in the CD player.
Oh well... Soundgarden can always sing the song without anybody thinking Chris Cornell is going to turn into a TV cop....
Great interview with Steven Tyler on Stern's show...
Seems as though Tyler had a hand in getting GNR back together....

I thought Tyler sounded like an idiot. Griping about who gets into the rock hall and then he does some shitty faux country?
I did think half way through it "well get with the smiths then " but he brought it up himself.
Red, white, and phew. Red, white, and spew. Red, white, and the song blew.
