While there's a bit of right wing posturing in Jack Webb's rant there, outside of his pro-war shilling, his comments about what was "good" about America in the 60s are mostly due to the policies set by Franklin Delano Roosevelt (and a few by his cousin Teddy earlier).
Jack Webb is turning cartwheels here in Hell now because of what you mortals have allowed to happen to your country over the last 35 years. You can bet your soul that he would not be voting for Trump if he were up there.

Imagine Trump wins the Republican nomination, Clinton wins the Democrat nomination and Bloomberg decides to stand as an independent. All three of those things are looking quite likely.

I doubt Bloomberg is going to run, though. He can't win. Outside of New York, nobody gives a shit about him. And Bloomberg isn't the type who is going to potentially put up a billion out of his own kick to lose: he's not one of these characters who runs even when aware there is no chance of winning because he's got nothing better to do/nothing to lose by losing.
Bloomberg runs to win. And he can't win this race.

I honestly thought skipping the debate was a stupid idea and thought it would hurt him. Looks like I was wrong.

I believe that the majority of Americans will not become supporters and surely the longer he gets to talk the less people will like him but it is a bit scary.
