First saw motorhead in 2005 while supporting the crue (should have been the other way around) and they sounded so sonically powerful for a 3 piece. Loved the setlist for the hour they played, which made me look into their back catalogue. I saw Motorhead open for Ozzy Osbournes Blizzard Of Oz at the old Checkerdome on Fri - 5 - 22 - 1981 . A bunch of friends and I having a good last hurrah at the end of our senior year . Motorhead kicked ass and brought the house down . I thought they were the loudest , heaviest band that I had ever seen or heard up to that point . They left quite an impression and I bought Motorhead Live No Sleep til Hammersmith shortly thereafter .
