Apple Piece of Shit iPad Mini 4

Stupid question but do any one of your cretins own one? If so, what do you like about it? Reviews look favorable but knowing this is an Apple product and knowing Apple is nothing more than a pro-capitalist hipster Chinese slave labor exploiting corporate empire I might pick one up at the end of the day. Then I'll be a true Bernie Sanders supporter.

    Don't.

Apple products are overpriced, outdated, fragile pieces of crap.

Do the unthinkable. Look into the specs & compare it with other phones. Research. You're smart enough.

And then buy a cheap phone that allows you to call & get text messages. You don't need the rest of the crap. Trust me, you think you do, but you'll be fine without all the extra crap.

I need to buy (another) Apple product to be welcomed and socially accepted among my chronically unemployed Starbucks peers.

Since when do braces go with skirts?

By the way, you do realize an iPad is not an iPhone, right?

I just saw the price of that thing & realised it's a tablet, not a phone.

I thought the iPads had disappeared in 2009.

You've gotta be fucking me. You can buy a dozen - that's TWELVE - MUCH better tablets with bigger screens for that price.

If you want a small screen, they'll be even cheaper. And faster.

There is absolutely no reason to buy anything Apple unless you love being ripped off. And I do mean blatantly ripped off. As in, pay over 10 times more for an inferior product with a hipster logo on it.

          Jesus fuck!

True. But I do need something that will last me over a year than those Samsuck and Asucks tablets.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab that's been okay. Only thing I don't like is that some of the apps can't be moved to the SD card and the internal memory fills up fast.

And you want an Apple product? They break just for putting them in your pocket.

Ok, listen. You do NOT need brands. Especially for something as discardable as a tablet. Or a TV.

There was a time, decades ago, when brands MEANT something. Nowadays, they're being manufactured in the exact same places as "inferior" brands, often with older parts. You're just buying a logo.

The smart thing to do is find out what you want exactly, then look for those specs regardless of known brands like Samsung, Asus or Apple.

I know most people don't want to think about anything, they just want to buy something they're told is good, but those are dumb people & you're not dumb.

And it takes no time at all. Just go to a huge site like Amazon for example, search for tablets of the size you want & compare the specs & prices. Even if you know jack shit about them - like me when I bought mine - it'll take you less than 5 minutes to start getting an idea about what's good & what isn't.

I'll bet that in less than half an hour, you'll make an informed purchase.

And if you don't want to buy from Amazon, at least you'll know the model you want so you can search for it.

Less than 30 minutes can save you 300 bucks or more. I guarantee it.

You Amerikaners & your brand dependency.

                    You make me laugh.

My over 3 years old 90 bucks 9 inch Chinese tablet that was manufactured in the exact same place you buy your expensive stuff is still going strong. One day I'll buy another but only because it'll cost me 50 bucks & will be larger & twice or three times as fast.

And I can buy cheap SD cards with huge capacity.

Brands are meaningless today. Get that into your thick skulls.

                    Played Battlefront yet?

I'm not against spending frivolous money on useless gadgets just for fun & games, in fact I fully endorse it.

But at least be aware of what you're buying. See if it's worth the money or if you're being savagely ripped off.

I have bought 3 computers in 16 years years, the latest one is less than a year old, so it'll last me another 5 or 6 years AT LEAST.

I buy the parts separate. The first two cost me 2000 bucks each, obviously with completely different technologies, and this latest one cost 1200.

The reason they didn't last as long is that I buy a new one as soon as I have to start lowering the settings to play newer games.

I COULD have bought pre-assembled computers, but they would've cost MORE & lasted much LESS.

Time is valuable, but I'd say saving up a couple of grand or even a few hundreds is worth a few hours of research.

                          That was directed at Tuna.

I can't wait for him to finally play that game.

Ok, check this out. This is the 600 bucks iPad you want to buy:

This is what I bought my nieces & nephew, one for each:

Compare the price & the specs.

Just for a laugh, this is what I bought 3 years ago, not for 90, but 60 bucks.
