Did he say that his name was not on the publishing? I thought he said that his voice was on it so he was wondering he could play them.

He knows damn well that he cannot play them. What is he doing? One second he seems to slam the sisters and then he asks how a VH tour would do.

Any publicity is good publicity. I think he's just drumming up the interest....which will mean bigger ticket sales or albums sales if Classic VH does anything.

"I just read a book on Alzheimers and I can't remember where I put it" LMMFAO!

    Exactly.

You notice he kind of skipped over the compliment about the 2 greatest hits songs and said they had 6 songs demoed in 2000 that were like VH1.

I think someone started a thread either here or on the Army about those 2000 demos... I guess that answers the question... do they exsist and who has them. I would love to heard that stuff!

Didn't Wooda mention last year that he almost had a deal for those 2000 demos. Then something got screwed up with his connection when the 76 club stuff made it onto Silver Japanese bootlegs.

I am on the West Coast so I haven't heard todays show. Any other CVH details?

Post by: Catfish on January 18, 2006, 01:15:08 PM
Good to hear DLR is talking some CVH!

What did he say about that bastard Nagin?

Post by: Seshmeister on January 18, 2006, 01:19:09 PM
It was during his review spot of the new Rolling Stones album, 8-9 I think.

Should be up online in the next hour or two.

    Cheers!

Yes you are correct, that single stupid act of Bill Wagmeister and Fletch fucked up more than you can imagine.

Too bad at the time I tuned in, he was talking about euthanasia so I turned it right off and didn't bother listening again.

Post by: jabbo on January 18, 2006, 04:57:08 PM
He can play anything once. Whether he gets a cease and desist after that is another thing. WRIF here in Detroit has played all kinds of stuff when they weren't supposed to (or at all - That's why I love ya from the VH III sessions was played here) and then they get a cease and desist. If he played it AFTER that, he'd get in trouble. He should have never said anything and just played it,

Very interesting. Someone has GOT to have those tracks somewhere. Eventually, they will be leaked.

I like how DLR called the boys out earlier to do a benefit for New Orleans. Good to see him on the offensive.

I LOVED today's show. Top to bottom.

And he even pissed me off today - the ULTIMATE Shoes paradox.

Dave talking about how dogs are not capable of love. AND I COULDN"T FUCKING CALL IN!!!!

    ARRRRRRRRGH

Regarding the unreleased stuff, I would speculate that they all signed agreements regarding disclosure of any type, before one note was laid down. Probably covered talking about it before/unless it was released, and playing anything prior to it's release, if that came to be.

If it doesn't get released, I would guess he can't play it unless he gets a go-ahead, from the VH company.
That having been said, regarding the depth of the comments he made regarding the sessions, I think it came up during the Al phone call(s)....

No big deal if Roth never plays those 2000 songs. He'd just talk over them anyway.
