    I did.

When I was 12, 13, I got nailed by cops when I blew through a stop sign.

I had to show up for traffic court on a Saturday.

I told the judge that "I slowed down a whole lot."

Everybody in the courtroom busted out laughing their asses off!

Everybody except my mom--she was FURIOUS!!!!

    Post by: atomicpunk5151 on January 26, 2006, 03:40:45 PM
The King had a great run on that play. Got the 49ers deep in the playoffs that year. Reminds me a lot of Steve Young, lol....

So is that todays DLR show run down.....Bike laws, smoking & Jamie Fox???

Who would in a fight between the KING & JACK?

    Post by: NE169 on January 26, 2006, 03:48:48 PM
Jamie Foxx was yesterday--did he reprise that one today?

I won't listen to it until tonight!

Not sure if it was today or yesterday but I did like the conversation about the Rolling Stones bootlegs during the Queen review. They mentioned the RS concert from MSG in NY. They were talking about paying for it with a cd case and artwork??? Also a little bit of taping talk. Dave seemed totally out of the loop about bootlegs and taping. He would probably shit if he saw some of our collections, lol. I think Dave is at his best when talking about music topics.

I got the Stones NY show free off Dimeadozen.org the other day.

You should call in and ask him if he would like copies of some of his shows!

I was hoping to hear about the low ratings for the Fox show.

    Post by: atomicpunk5151 on January 26, 2006, 04:57:39 PM
I think that Dave also mentioned after Brian played the FREE song that they will eventually bring in the full band for a show. It just wasn't time yet.

Maybe this will be when we get some DLR or CVH cuts.

Also I was thinking, at some point in the future Dave needs to have a fan in as a guest. Someone who know a lot about the old days. Somebody like Wooda or Jeff H(vhstore/vhnd).

Make it a contest if need be. Win a day with DLR in the studio. That would get some buzz going with the fans.
